The Federal Cabinet has permitted the appointment of Air Marshal Arshad Malik as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), on a three-year contract basis.
According to the details, a cabinet meeting was held in Islamabad beneath the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan, throughout which the overall monetary and political state of affairs of the nation, along with the coronavirus pandemic and completely different factors, had been reviewed.
The federal cabinet formally permitted the appointment of Air Marshal Arshad Malik as a result of the chief authorities of PIA for 3 years. After the cabinet approval, he’ll keep the CEO of PIA even after his retirement.

Briefing the media after the meeting of the federal cabinet, Information Minister Senator Shibli Faraz acknowledged that 28 pilots with faux PIA licenses have been sacked, all suspicious licenses had been issued in the midst of the PPP and PML-N tenures.
