Punjab authorities has lastly lifted “smart lockdown” imposed in assorted cities all via the province from Monday.
A notification has been issued by the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department in response to which firms, factories, and markets will be allowed to carry out from 9 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday.
However, public areas much like spas, cinemas, theatres, and consuming locations shall keep closed. Churches will be opened from 9 am to 7 pm all via the week.
“All educational and training institutes, marriage halls, business centers, expo halls, restaurants (except takeaway and home delivery), theme/amusement parks, public parks, play areas and arcades, beauty parlors and spas, cinemas, theatres shall remain closed.”
Apart from that, a complete lockdown will be imposed on Saturdays and Sundays other than medical suppliers and pharmacies/medical retailers, tire puncture shops, atta chakkies, postal/courier suppliers, driver lodging, petrol pumps, oil depots, LPG retailers and filling vegetation, agriculture gear workshops and spare components shops, printing press, title services (with 50% employees and no public dealing), takeaway/home Delivery from consuming locations (24 hours a day).
Furthermore, grocery retailers, fruit and vegetable, milk, and meat shops will be allowed to open from 6 am to 12 am. Inter-city and inter-district public transport will be operational all via the day.
