Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday reached Sukkur Barrage to evaluate the state of affairs of flood inside the Indus River.
Upon arrival on the barrage, CM Murad Ali Shah was briefed by the authorities in regards to the current flood state of affairs on the barrage and precautionary measures taken by them.
Speaking to media, he said that there is a affordable flood state of affairs on the Sukkur Barrage, whereas the extreme flood is passing via Guddu Barrage.
“Directions have been given for pitching of the weak embankments to avoid any loss”, CM Sindh added.
