Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of K-Electric, Tabish Gohar, has been appointed as Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Power.
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Tabish Gohar as his Special Assistant for Energy under Rule 4 (6) of the 1973 Rules of Business.
The notification said that Tabish Gohar has been appointed as an honorary candidate and can most likely be utilized immediately.
It is to be well-known that Tabish Gohar holds first-class honors in Electrical Engineering from King’s College, London, and an MBA within the Institute of Business Administration in Pakistan.
He is at current the founder and chairman of Oasis Energy Consultants Limited.
Before the launch of Oasis Energy Consultants Limited in October 2015, Tabish Gohar was a Partner and Global Head in Energy Infrastructure at Abraaj Group, the place he held senior administrative positions for almost 9 years.
He resigned as director, chief authorities officer, and chairman of K-Electric’s board in 2015 after virtually seven years of service.
In 2012, for the first time in 17 years under his administration, K-Electric obtained right here to income.
