Another unhappy information for the residents of Karachi as costs of electrical energy has been elevated.
As per the preliminary particulars, the costs of electrical energy in Karachi has been elevated by Rs 2.89 per unit.
According to the notification issued by the facility division, the worth of electrical energy per unit has been elevated from Rs 1.09 to 2.89.
Earlier, The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has authorised a rise of Rs 0.83 per unit within the energy tariff on Thursday.
According to the small print, the nationwide energy regulatory authority’s (NEPRA) notification acknowledged that the worth hike was made within the context of gas value adjustment made in July.
“The increase will be collected in October bills, however, the increase in electricity prices will not apply to K- Electric customers,” the notification acknowledged..
