North Korean chief Kim Jong-un broke into tears and requested for an apology for the failure to steer his nation appropriately amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Kim Jong-un spoke on the military parade organized to rejoice the 75th anniversary of the muse of the ruling Workers’ Party. He shed tears whereas delivering his speech.

He said, “Our people have placed trust, as high as the sky and as deep as the sea, in me, but I have failed to always live up to it satisfactorily. I am sorry about that.”

On the other hand, Kim moreover thanked a whole bunch of forces for responding to present damaging storms, and for supporting to forestall coronavirus outbreak in North Korea.

“Although I am entrusted with the important responsibility to lead this country upholding the cause of the great comrades Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il thanks to the trust of all the people, my efforts and sincerity have not been sufficient enough to rid our people of the difficulties in their lives,” Kim added whereas citing his father and grandfather.

Furthermore, he moreover said that he was grateful that the nation had not reported a single case of Covid-19.

“The impact of anti-coronavirus measures, international sanctions, and several typhoons combined to prevent the government from following through on promises to improve citizens’ lives,”

“My efforts and sincerity have not been sufficient enough to rid our people of the difficulties in their life,” he said. “Our people, however, have always believed and trusted me, and supported my choice and determination, whatever it is.”

Shin Beom-Chul, a senior fellow on the Korea Research Institute for National Strategy in Seoul, said that Kim’s principal message aimed on the United States, “By showing a new ICBM, the North suggested they can test it any time if things don’t go well after the election. Inter-Korean ties don’t count to them.”
