At least seven people have been injured after unidentified males threw a hand grenade on Samungli Road in Quetta, police acknowledged.
According to DIG Quetta, the police have been investigating the depth of the explosion.
Rescue sources acknowledged that the injured included two children and 5 laborers. The heavy contingents of laws enforcement companies and ambulances reached the scene. The injured have been shifted to a close-by hospital for medical consideration.
The laws enforcers cordoned off the realm and commenced amassing proof. A search operation was launched to arrest the culprits.
Earlier in September, four people have been injured in a blast open air a mosque on Quetta’s Sariab Road.
The blast occurred correct after Friday prayers, and the injured have been taken to the Civil Hospital for treatment.
Plumes of smoke have been seen coming out of a blazing bike after the explosion.
The nature of the explosion was being investigated as a result of the officers could not confirm whether or not or not a bomb was planted or a bike caught hearth, acknowledged Quetta Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Abdul Razzaq Cheema.
